Coaching Requirements

All coaches are required by NZC to complete cricket coaching course suitable for the grade they are coaching. This is made up of two parts - online and practical.

Years 2-4  Junior Cricket - Foundation Course

Years 5-8  Junior Cricket - Advanced Foundation Course

In order to make it as easy as possible for our coaches, OJCC will run the practical session for the coaching course prior to the start of each season at Nairnville Park. Parents and existing coaches are welcome to attend as a refresher.

All coaches of players under 18 years old need to be Police vetted.
